Bearing Point announced that it has estabilshed a new ERP Human Capital Management System for East Japan Railway Company. Japan Railway is looking to restructure its Human resources, payroll, administrative services as well as other business processes. Japan Railway easy chose BearingPoint to help implement these changes due to their reputation as one of the leading and largest management and technology consulting firms.
BearingPoint will help implement SAP ERP HCM into Japan Railway’s System allowing their employees to use this new system. Japan Railway will become one of the largest SAP ERP users bases with an employee number of around 60,000. SAP ERP HCM was chosen due to its reputation for its reliability as well as its functionality.

NGC has integrated its RedHorse ERP software with DMI’s Demand Solution software to help increase sales and reduce inventory. RedHourse, an apparel specific ERP software, monitors many KPIs which Demand Solutions does not currently offer.
Integration of both of these ERP solutions should have many benefits for customers of NGC and DMI such as:

Netsuite, an ERP provider, took advantage of the delayed release of SAP’s new ERP platform by introducing a new ERP solution of its own. Netsuite’s new on-demand ERP solution is focused for apparel and electronic manufacturers.
Netsuite capitalized on the delayed release of SAP’s new ERP Platform by introducing its “Netsuite for Manufacturers” solution. Netsuite’s new ERP software for manufacturers can also prove to be competition for other ERP providers such as Microsoft who also targets businesses in the manufacturing sector.

Synalloy Corporation, a chemical manufacturer, has chosen Deacom to implement its ERP system into its unique chemical manufacturing business. The implementation of the Deacom ERP software should help Synalloy cut costs in a number of sectors.
Synalloy’s chemical companies had been using a primitive ERP system which was not integrated with its main ERP system. Deacom ERP will be implemented in October 2008 and will allow many functions which were not previously present in Synalloy’s old ERP system. The introduction of the Deacom ERP system will allow for the integration of many business processes.
