Consolidation into ERP Software combines multiple databases into a single repository of information. However, in order to be truly effective, business processes must also be changed to facilitate the new software. Business must transform in order to meet the needs of the new ERP System in order to truly be effective.

Although many companies choose to adopt different software for their different office locations, there comes a time when companies grow so large that it becomes necessary to have one consolidated database that is shared across their whole company. ERP Consolidation projects are one way of accomplishing this. Even with the current recession, companies remained interested in ERP consolidation and the benefits that can be had from implementing these processes.

In order for consolidation projects to be successful, companies must be able to standardize business processes in all their offices. This makes it much easier for companies to effectively utilize the ERP Software to its maximum potential by adapting to fit the needs of the ERP platform. ERP Software Pricing Reflecting Current Economic Conditions

As the worldwide recession continues to take its toll on company budgets all over the world, software providers are coming up with new customer friendly pricing plans to help fit into company budgets.

Traditional rigid pricing structures have been replaced with more flexibility, allowing room to negotiate with companies on prices in order to help both companies and ERP providers make a deal. This changing economy has made it a buyer’s market with vendors being much more accommodating to the pricing needs of their newer customers.

Pricing models have changed and support for products has increased. All this has been done to reflect the changing demands of software buyers. However, the question still remains in the future when the economy improves. Whether or not these discounted prices negotiated now will still be effective in the future is still a question yet to be answered.

But, one thing is for sure, pricing and pricing options have become much more flexible recently to help close more deals and generate more revenue for ERP software providers.
